Get Motivated In 5 Easy Steps

Are you ready to Get Motivated in 5 Easy Steps! Get ready to take on the world!

How To Get Motivated?

You have to coach yourself. Be your own best friend and repeat to yourself “I can do this! That determination to succeed no matter what will help you reach your goal.

Grieve The Dream

Let’s keep it real. I won’t tell you to not be upset. It’s normal to feel let down and disappointed. It’s completely natural to grieve.
I’ll give myself a week or two to cry about it. Typically I spend that time alone and allow myself to feel those emotions.

For some people, they need to surround themselves with people or activities to distract themselves from the pain. I deal with things differently and prefer to be alone with my thoughts and not have to talk my feelings with other people. You do what’s best for you.

Forgive Yourself

Anger only affect you. Its like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. The poison from not forgiving yourself can negatively impact your mind, body, heart and soul. The first person you need to forgive is yourself and to believe that you made the best.

Forgive yourself for breaking a promise, for believing his lies, for not paying attention, for not taking care of yourself, whatever the case may be. Beating yourself up or giving up will only hold your back from moving forward.

Learn From Your Mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes! If we fail to learn from them we will continue to live in the same state. Everyone makes mistakes and we can learn a lot from them. Reflect and ask yourself what you could’ve done differently or ask for feedback from someone else.

Use feedback and questions to motivate you to learn from this experience. What can I do better next time? Can you teach me? What do you suggest that I do to correct this? Seek feedback from others.

Do Better Next Time

You’ve acknowledged your mistake, taken steps to forgive yourself, and learn from your mistakes by reflecting and asking for feedback, now it’s time to put those lessons to use.

Wake up a half hour early if you’ve been late to work. You gained weight and need to cutback on eating unhealthy foods and cook at home and exercise for 30 minutes each day.

Schedule a date night each week if your significant other needs more quality time .

Making small changes can go a long way in improving relationships, building trust, and building self-confidence.

Read Motivational Books

Invest in some self-help books. I love reading about their life and how each author conquered their fears.

The Success Principles by Jack Canfield https://www.jackcanfield.com/

The Secret by Rhonda Bryne https://www.thesecret.tv/

The Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes

Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers, Ph D.

Use these experiences as motivation to move you closer to your goal and become the best version of yourself.
